Lemonade diet otherwise known as the Master Cleanse Diet is one of the most effective ways to clean out the body by flushing toxins and wastes. In the same way, unwanted pounds are also shed off making you loose extra pounds. However, although many people are trying to embark on the lemonade diet, the problem is they don’t know how to do it. So to help you, here are the steps on how to do it easier and faster.
How to make the Lemonade Juice
1. First prepare the ingredients that you need. For a day, you may have to consume 2 liters so we’ll prepare just enough for a day. For 2 liters, you will need 14 Tbsp of Lemon Juice and Maple Syrup together with ½ tbsp of cayenne pepper or depending on your taste.
2. Cut the lemons in half and pour the juice into a cup. Measure the needed tablespoons and pout it into the jug of water together with the Maple Syrup. You can add in the cayenne or you can just put it if you’re ready to drink the juice.
3. Consume six to twelve servings of the mixture each day. The diet lasts for ten days so be sure that you have ample supply.
Next thing that you need to prepare is the Salt water flush. It is done usually in the morning of the first day. Some people do it at least in a day while others do it in three days. You will be going through increased bowel movements so be sure that you are near the comfort room. All you need to do is to pour in 1 teaspoon of non-iodized organic sea salt in 1 liter of water. You can drink up in one setting or you can drink it in several servings.
Either way, you will go through hard and packed bowel movements. You don’t need to be afraid since the saltwater will be expelled from your system although it will come along with the solid and liquid wastes in your body. You can take in the herbal after pouring out or you can drink it at night before going to bed to serve as a laxative. Aside from the mixtures, you can also take in water and raw vegetables.
And finally, ending the diet to go back to your natural eating patterns is still part of the process. Fight the urge to eat at once as this can shock your digestive tract and pose harm on your health. Start by taking in added vegetable and fruit juices. Then you can follow taking in solid food little by little until your body finally adjusted.
After the diet, you can look forward to a healthier body. Aside from the weight you loose, you will also feel lighter as toxins and wastes are flushed out. In this way, you’re on your way to a new, clean, and healthy body and lifestyle. And it’s because of the Master Cleanse Lemonade diet.
Its day 6 for me and I feel great! I’ve lost 6 pounds and i would refer this Cleanse to everyone!
I’m only on day three, but have not been doing the salt water flushes nor drinking herbal tea. Is this nesessary for the weight loss? If so can I just start now or do I have to start back to day one.
Can u do it more than 10days
Has anyone eaten raw vegetables while in the Master Clease? If so, was it more effective with or without eating the vegetables?
@alizia: I read online that it could be 12 to 14 days.
@admin: The laxative tea says not to exceed 7 days. Do you do the tea and salt flush everyday?
How old do u need to be to do this cleanse? I’m 15 (and i only lasted a day and a half but im starting again…) so u can eat raw veggies?
can you drink any herbal tea?(and as much as u want?)
Should you eat while on this diet?? Better to or better to fast?
This says you put 1 tsp of salt water in 1 litre of water.

im thinking about starting this diet in the next couple of days im trying to find out were i get the ingredients from and can i use tap water or is it some ‘special’ water??? also do you have to do exercise whislt on this diet???
@Laura
It’s 2 tbsp. lemon, 2 tbsp. syrup & a tenth of a tsp pepper to 10 oz. water for one serving. For 2 liters worth it would be 7 tbsp. lemon, 7 tbsp. syrup & a fourth of a tbsp. pepper and 2 liters water.
@Christina Im confused…at the top of this page it says 14 tbsp of lemon & syrup. and 1/2 tbsp. pepper per 2 liters water
My husband and I have both “cleansed” with the lemonade diet, we do the tea but not saltwater flush, and we eat raw water-based veggies like cucumber and lettuce leaves with a little lemon juice and salt for flavor… it helps curb the hunger! By day 3, we feel great! Skin looks better, better mental clarity, and more energy!! But the first 2 days are rough..tiredness, headaches, hunger!! Stick it out, it’s worth it in the end. We lose weight and feel amazing!
To make the lemonade cleanse by the gallon:
One gallon of water
a cup of Grade B maple syrup
at least 5 fresh lemons (make sure to roll them out before cutting and squeezing this way the juice is loose in the lemon and you won’t struggle to get the juice out)
a small spoon of cayenne pepper ( at home you have 2 differnt spoons the big one and the small one use the small on and level it out)
It tastes ok but from what I am hearing after the 1st day you should be fine
