It's 1/10 of a tea spoon!! What I do it's 32 oz at the time which calls for 6 table spoons each syrup/ lemon juice and 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper. It's a reasonable taste!

I made my first batch and it called for 2 oz of each lemon juice and maple syrup and 1/4 tsp of cayenne....whoa what a spicy drink, I gagged it down and the diluted it with more water. I don't think I can do lemons and cayenne and maple syrup.

Can they be taken seperate? Cayenne pepper put in capsules, you can do it yourself. Drink the lemon juice and water and then take the maple syrup straight in the teaspoon form. Same ingredients going into your body and equal amount of water but just not mixed in a disgusting drink. Couldn't do it.

The recipe calls for 1/10 of a teaspoon in one section and 1/10th of a Tablespoon in another section...big difference with cayenne pepper. Which is the right proportion? And measuring spoons do not have a 1/10 line so if you are making a one days supply how much cayenne pepper does it take? Our measurements go by 1/8/ 1/4/ 1/2/ 3/4/ 1 tsp
