Lemonade diet – undeniably, more and more people are having the urge to go through and continue with this kind of diet with the goal of shedding extra pounds. That may be more likely because, they were inspired when Beyonce use this diet to loose 20 pounds. But as she said, I was only for the movie. Moreover, can everyone lose the same weight as she did?
Basically, lemonade diet otherwise called as Master Cleanse Diet includes the use of organic lemon juice, maple syrup, cayenne pepper and purified water. Lemon juice itself has the ability to remove toxins in the body. The diet is more of a fast because you will not be anything but the juice or the concoction. It is taken in the whole day along with the laxative tea at night.
As soon as the diet is started, the body will eventually go through several changes. The main purpose of the diet is to detox or expel out the toxins and unwanted fat in the body. It is in this way that the body loses weight. Aside from this effect, lemonade diet can also clean up the digestive system and kidney. However, since it is the kind of diet that will require you to cut out on food with high calories content, your body will then burn the extra stored fat, so you will also cut off on your weight figures. In this way, your metabolism will still be the same. It’s just that there is no added calorie to burn and store in your body.
That is why, if the diet is followed strictly, you can surely loose weight. And aside from this, your body also loses weight as it cuts off on water weight. You will not be taking any liquid but the juice and the tea so the diet can likely loose water weight which you would normally put on if you’re not on a diet or if you’re going through other diet types.
Moreover, you will be increasing your bowel movement when you go through this diet since it will detox and cleanse your body particularly the digestive system. This is actually the main purpose of the diet so that means you will have to go back on your normal eating habit and patterns. After days of fasting or going through the diet, you will again regain the pounds you shed off. The lemonade diet is a sure, fast way to lose weight but only for a short time. So that means you need to exert real extra effort to follow healthy diet and lifestyle to shed off unwanted pounds from your body.
For this reason, Lemonade diet or Master Cleanse Diet is just but a temporary way to loose weight. Moreover, it is a good detox since it flushes out toxins and impurities from the body. In this way, the body can function at its best. If you want to lose unwanted fat permanently, the best option is to live a healthy lifestyle mainly by cutting off on high-calorie food.

Nana!! Absolutely NO WAY !! Your baby need all the nutrients he/She needs and witht he lemonaid diet your not really putting anything in your body ! your trying to get everything out !

I am on day four of the diet and I have already lost 8 pounds!!! I plan to go to around 12 to 14 days depending on how i feel then and how many pounds i have lost. but i feel great and actually have more energy than before!

Wow 8 lbs is awesome!! I want to start this but wanted to know if u can so this and still do daily activities..I mean i go out and i don’t wanna be next to a toilet all the time.
I am really wanting to start this diet this morning, but im just nervous on how long you will be next to the toilet… Im starting it on my 2 days off work so hopefully I will be detoxed by my third day so I will be ok at work… Any suggestions??? Also do I have to do the Salt Water Flush and the Tea all 10 days or just for the first 3 days??? Help??
@Anna: It’s very hard to predict your BM but many participants have completed without much issue so I guess you’ll be pretty alright. Salt water flush and Tea – Yes, you have to do it for all 10 days.

Im starting tomm, i have been on so many diff sites im confused on which rules to follow..is it the tea for the first three days? and then do u drink the lemonade directly after the tea? and can you make the tea in a big pitcher and drink it as you go??
I tried “A” lemonade diet some years ago but it made me sick. Will someone please tell me about the tea and saltwater. What all goes in them and how are they supposed to be taken?
I started actually last night, I drank the smooth move tea and had a movement this morning. I have not had anything to eat all day and Im freaking starving. Im taking the cayenne pepper capsules instaed of putting it in my drink. Gosh I hope I make it……I also have a headache BAD>>>>

Started this morning feel ok. Put a little to much cayenne pepper,but it ok.Trying to loose 65lb by my b-day.I have7 more months wish me luck.
I started yesterday and so far is good. i fell full all the time. the salt water is horrible but have to do it .
